Beta Data Disclosure: During the beta period, the Medusa agent performs all DLP scanning locally on your endpoint — no file contents or sensitive data leave your device. Detection metadata (verdict type, tool name, detection category, and confidence score) is transmitted to the Medusa cloud-managed dashboard for monitoring and alerting. Self-hosted deployment options will be available for organizations requiring full data residency within their own infrastructure.
